About me

Left foot in red shoe rests on pavement. Next to the toes is a sign that reads, “to have walked the earth.”

I am a Canadian Gen X introvert of African Nova Scotian descent with an appetite for alliteration. I match words to signs and experiences to words:

*Interpreter | English and American Sign Language (ASL)
*Writer | creative nonfiction, short fiction, and food/travel/wellness blogs
*Tutor | English (CELTA trained)
*Teacher | fitness, yoga, barre
*Proponent | plain language

I am a human communication specialist. I am not AI.

My interests, like my various ventures, are eclectic. I am a life-long writer, serial student, tree hugger, fan of fragrant flowers, storyteller, and aspiring polyglot.
Motto:
Bake. Dance. Travel.
Philosophy:
Music is my muse, movement is my medicine, and travel is my therapy.
